Meditation is not so much an act as it is the awareness of subtle shifts in consciousness accompanied by a sense of interconnectedness, balance, timelessness and deep inner peace.

Evidence-based research has shown that meditation changes the functioning, size and shape of the brain! A simple practice can be used to reduce stress, alleviate pain, diminish anger and negative emotions, as well as to develop equanimity, compassion and to increase your ability to learn new things.

Through the practice of meditation, you'll strengthen your ability to remain in the present moment and will learn to align yourself with the healing power of Nature in order to promote a healthier, more enlightened lifestyle for yourself and for those around you.

Nick specializes in teaching Buddhist, Yogic/Tantric, Taoist and iRest Yoga Nidra meditation practices and currently leads half-day, full-day and mulitple-day retreats (in both social and wilderness settings) designed to introduce practitioners to seated meditation and meditative movement, as well as "grounding," active listening, psychic protection and concentrative techniques.
